There is so much to love about these gym shorts, and I have only one complaint. What I love is that they do NOT have an elastic waist. I am a senior and while I am fit, I do not have the hourglass shape of the youth and I do not like elastic waisted items because the elastic is always too tight for my size. I always have plenty of room through the hips but the waist is never right. THESE are WONDERFUL because there is no elastic so they are not tight. I can adjust the string if I want them tighter around the waist but I found that I don't even have to do that because there is some stretch to the fabric so they are easy to slide off my hips to take them off. The leopard print is darling and looks great with a lot of my black or red sweatshirts. And, they have pockets! A place to put my phone!!! The workmanship on the shorts are very nice quality too. And who can beat $15 for a pair of shorts?!?!!! My only complaint, but not enough to take off a star is that the fabric feels a bit cheap. However, the shorts hang nicely so who am I to complain. I bought two of these shorts in this leopard print because I know I will get a TON of wear out of these! I may have to go back and buy other colors!

These shorts have changed my life - finally. I prefer to have my hands free and not lug around a bag. I also want my phone, keys, and sometimes card and ID with me at all times, but not have to worry about them. These shorts were the answer. The zipper pockets are deep enough to easily hold my iPhone with otter box case, keys, cards, and cash. I have ordered 3 pairs and will probably order more because I need these for the rest of my life! The length is perfect for me. I have athletic legs, with a little extra cushion in the thighs from cupcakes and beer. The shorts are long enough to not ride up, but short enough to still be flattering and cool. The fabric is hard to explain, but it’s cool, comfortable, dries fast, but doesn’t make annoying crinkle sounds like some shorts and doesn’t announce your entrance into the room with each step. These shorts are perfect for multiple activities and events. Personally, I have worn them golfing, riding roller coasters (great for not needing to rent a locker), hiking, concerts, and summer social events. All of those activities/events, I prefer to have my hands free, but items secured without worry and these shorts absolutely delivered. I hesitated to try them because of the price and repeated failures trying to find shorts to check all of the boxes, but this risk finally provided rewards.
